  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (4)

    • Ch'Pok: It's an interesting system of justice you have, Captain. It does have its flaws however. It emphasizes procedure over substance... form over fact.

    • Ch'Pok: (referring to Worf's trial) I look forward to fighting on your terms.
Sisko: This is not a fight! It's the search for the truth.
Ch'Pok: The truth must be won! I'll see you on the battlefield.

    • Ch'Pok: I apologize, Worf. Actually, I pity you. But you know who I pity more? Alexander. Because someday he will turn to you and say, "Father, who am I?" And you'll have to tell him that he is the son of a small, frightened man who destroyed a ship full of children just to prove his own courage.

    • Worf: Life is a great deal more complicated in this red uniform.
Sisko: Just wait until you get four pips on that collar. You'll wish you'd gone into botany.

    Notes (3)

    • Ron Canada (Ch'Pok) also played Martin Benbeck on The Next Generation episode "The Masterpiece Society" and Fesek in the Voyager episode "Juggernaut".

    • Christopher Michael (Helm Officer) also played Coalition Lieutenant on The Next Generation episode "Legacy".

    • Cirroc Lofton (Jake Sisko) does not appear in this episode.

    Trivia (3)

    • Goof: Worf's hearing takes place on Stardate 49665.3, while the incident occurred on Stardate 49648.0.

    • Goof: Worf ordered Kira to prepare the quantum torpedoes just before firing on the de-cloaking transport. However, the torpedoes shown on the view screen glowed red-orange, using the photon torpedo special effect. Quantum torpedoes are usually shown using a blue-glow effect.

    • Goof: Sisko is only wearing commander (3) pips at the end of Dax's questioning, but he wears captain's (4) pips the rest of the time.
