  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (4)

    • (Watching video of Cassie moving chess piece) Hammond: How can she do that? Jack: Magnets. Everyone of those pieces got a little tiny magnet in the bottom to hold it on the board. Like when your driving so they don't rattle off. Anyway every one of the magnets has a little electrical field around it. That's how she was able to manipulate em. Magnets. They do look like horses. (everyone in briefing room stares at her)

    • Fraiser: Invite him in. I'm sure he'd love to have a piece of birthday cake that Sam went to all the trouble to bake. Sam: Buy. Fraiser: Bring.

    • Sam: And then they come back cured. Jack: Nirrti cured them? Sam: Yeah, it makes sense. Jack: No, it doesn't...

    • Hammond: You're letting your emotions get in the way. Jack: Yes, I am! Shouldn't you be?

    Notes (5)

    • Colleen Rennison, who plays Cassandra in this episode, had previously appeared in the second season's "Bane" as Ally.

    • There were 14 candles on Cassie's cake.

    • Cassandra is now played by a Colleen Rennison instead of Katie Stuart who starred as Cassandra in the first season.

    • Peter DeLuise cameo: he's the airman who takes Daniel's report.

    • Syndication air date: October 20, 2002.

    Trivia (3)

    • Trivia: hok'taur: meaning "advanced human", comes from the roots hok (advanced) and taur (slang for tau'ri - human).

    • In the opening scene as Cassandra storms outside to see her boyfriend, the candles on her cake are lit. A minute later, when Sam and Fraiser run outside, the candles are not lit.

    • Teal'c once again uses his barcode to open (or in this case close) a door in the SGC without using the magnetic stripe on his ID card.

    Allusions (1)

    • Sam: ...and until your head starts spinning around... This refers to the movie The Exorcist (1973) and the scene where the little girl, Regan MacNeil, is able to spin her head 360 degrees while she is possessed by a demon.
