  • Quotes (7)

    • Daniel: You killed [Seth]! Jack: Hail Dorothy.

    • Jack: Jaffa jokes? Let's hear one of them. Teal'c: I shall attempt to translate one, O'Neill. A Serpent guard, a Horus guard, and a Setesh guard meet on a neutral planet. It is a tense moment. The Serpent guard's eyes glow. The Horus guard's beak glistens. The Setesh guard's nose drips. (Teal'c starts laughing as everyone stares)

    • (team debating how to eliminate Seth from his fortress) Teal'c: What are you thinking, O'Neill? Jack: Well, I was thinking we need to get in there...

    • Seth: Welcome! Who are you? Jack: Well, I'm Larry, this is Moe and, of course, everyone's favorite, Curly.

    • Jack: AK-47s, a couple of Uzis... Anyone think they observed the requisite 15-day waiting period for those weapons? Sam: And it looks like a pair of 50 .cals. Jack: Does the concept of overkill mean anything to anybody?

    Notes (5)

    • Mitchell Kosterman would later play Colonel Thomas Rundell in 'Heroes Part I & II'

    • Robert Duncan previously played Daniel's father in "The Gamekeeper."

    • Syndication airdate: October 9, 2000.

    • When Daniel is giving his speech about Seth/Setesh, the computer screen showing information on Seth's activities during the Middle Ages, the info is actually scanned pages from the Vampire: The Masquerade role-playing game - info relating to the Setites, a clan of vampires in the game.

    • This is the eighth episode to feature the Tok'ra.

    Trivia (8)

    • Trivia: When Daniel is telling Sam and Jacob about Seth, you can see two pictures on his desk. One is of his wife Sha're and the other is of himself on a camel with a pyramid behind him.

    • The SGC must have an extraordinary marksman training program for their teams since in this episode SG-1 manages to have three of its members (Jack, Sam & Daniel), each using two Zats simultaneously, fire in rapid succession at a group of ten people and hit each of them exactly once (a second hit with a Zat kills, and the whole group goes down, but no one died). This deed is even more impressive since they only had one or two seconds to assess the situation and didn't need to speak to coordinate their attack.

    • When Joe Levinson was getting coffee in the command tent, the coffee pot on top of the coffee machine changes amounts between shots.

    • At the beginning of the episode the Iris is seen closed, then opening, before an IDC code could have been sent, because a wormhole had not been established.

    • Both Jack and Daniel appear to be surprised when Special Agent James Hamner mentions the name Seth, with the last name Fargough. However, on the website that Daniel shows the team about the latest news on Seth, it clearly say Fargough as a last name
