  • Episode Description
  • While visiting Chulak to gather support for a Jaffa rebellion, Teal'c is captured by the Goa'uld. The rest of SG-1, unaware of his fate, are dispatched to thwart a burgeoning alliance between Apophis and Heru-ur. But when they arrive at the neutral location chosen for the meeting - an ancient minefield floating in space - they discover that Heru-ur has brought along a gift to seal the deal: a battered but defiant Teal'c. SG-1 is torn. Do they try to rescue Teal'c? Or, as Jacob Carter argues, does the success of their mission outweigh the life of their friend?moreless

  • Quotes (17)

    • (working to disarm the mine) Daniel: No, I think that's it. Sam: You think? Daniel: Okay, I'm… I'm sure that's it. (Sam reaches to touch the mine) Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait! Jack: Hey! Daniel: (flipping pages) No, no, sorry. That's it. I'm sure of it.

    • Sam: Nothing's happening. Jacob: Our operative could've been compromised. Daniel: Or we reprogrammed the mine wrong. (Sam and Jacob look at him in horror) No, I'm sure we reprogrammed the mine right.

    • Daniel: Okay, these are Tobin numbers. This is one, this is two, this is three. Sam: Wait wait! What about zero? Daniel: What? Sam: Zero. Why didn't you say zero? Daniel: Because there is no zero in a Phoenician numerical system. Jacob: What if the Tobins added it? Sam: He's right; inventing technology with this level of sophistication would require a zero. Daniel: Why? Sam: Just trust me, it's a math thing.

    • (Walking into cargo ship) Jack: Still going with the gold, huh?

    • Jack: Ah, wait a minute, just stop, hold it right there. If you’re about to say you’ll explain along the way, I’m gonna lose it. I’ve about had it with the way the Tok’ra do business. I want to know exactly what we’re dealing with here, every mission detail you’ve got right now or we go nowhere. Jacob: I was gonna tell you, Jack. Jack: Okay, never mind.
