    • The Warden: Hello there, you're in Superjail. I'm the Warden and you're a criminal!

    • Alice: She chugs down a drink. I gotta take a leak. She ties up the inmate she brought with her. When I get back, we're doing body shots. She lifts up her shirt, and we see a tattoo that reads: If you can read this, you are NOT low enough!

    • A Warden-Shaped Robot: Hyuh-hyuh! The Warden says: If you sprinkle when you tinkle, please be neat and wipe the seat! Hyuh-hyuh! An inmate punches it and it breaks.

    • Jared: Sir, I AM a recovering alcoholic. Warden: Great! Then YOU can be the bartender! Let's get to work!

    • Warden: sighs Oh, sweet, sweet Alice. The flames in my loins have risen to tickle my heart. How do I get her to feel the same burning sensation that I do? Jared: Well, call me old fashioned, sir, but there's always the old tried and true option of asking the lady out for a drink!

    • Combaticus: I am the new god of war, bow down to Combaticus!

    • The Warden: Jared, are these what you all immigrants?
Jared: I think they're women, sir.

    • Warden: Ah ever since I was a kid I've had dreams of incarceration.

    Allusions (3)

    • TGI Fridays When the sign outside the door of Superbar is seen, it looks very similar to the TGI Fridays sign.

    • Amongst the beings being sent through the Time Jail's prisoner corridors behind the Warden (in the scene where he it talking to the bullet) apper to be members of the Great Race of Yith, (conical beings with heads, claws, and other appendages on long stalky limbs) from the H.P. Lovecraft short story "The Shadow out of Time". In the story the Yithians were time travelers of a sort (the race lived by exchanging their minds with beings throughout time and space then re-exchanging them after a while) so their presence is somewhat logical (a freely time traveling race might well have done something to offend the time police)

    • The animation of the opening story of this episode (told by the old man in the cave) is similar to that of the opening story in the 1978 Martin Rosen movie version of Watership Down.
