  • Episode Description
  • On Halloween night, a mustachioed man visits April, expressing interest in a rather unusual item: a hideous six-armed idol. But the statue is no ordinary junkshop knickknack; it can be used to invoke a horde of imps that proceed to clean out the city and bring its spoils to their master, a criminal who calls himself The King of Thieves.

    • King of Thieves: I took it, for you see, I am the King of Thieves! (music rips out) Don: Oookay Mikey: More like the King of tacky bling!

    • Mikey: (ties a blue mask on his Jack-O-Lantern) Check it out, a Leo-O-Lantern. Raph: You got his charming smile down.

    • April: Casey, I thought we were both wearing costumes to the party. Mikey: That is Casey's costume. Raph: Everyday is halloween for Casey Jones. Casey: On real nice comebacks coming from a couple of green guys wearing masks all year long.

    Notes (3)

    • Villains: King of Thieves, God of Thieves, flying goblins

    • Originally written to be aired as episode number 90. It seemed appropriate however to air this on Halloween weekend though instead of merely showing it during late November.

    • Prologue Narrator: Raphael

    Trivia (3)

    • WE learn that Splinter used to take the Turtles trick or treating when they were little since they couldn't go out any other time.

    • In the prologue, one of the kids is dressed as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle with a red mask (Raphael).

    • Adapted from Mirage's TALES OF THE TMNT #3, with some small alterations (e.g. the King of Thieves picks a man's pocket on the street rather than while disembarking from a plane, and the scene with the man's accomplices being fatally poisoned is totally cut).
