  • The sometimes over-confident Viral attacks the turtles where it hurts the most-- at home.

  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (5)

    • Viral: You dare to mock me? Mikey: Yeah, it's sort of what we do inbetween kicking butt.

    • Serling: (to Don) You soft shelled idiot you nearly fried my circuits. Mikey: Hey, if you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen-bot. Don: Ugh.Okay that was lame even for you.

    • Raphael: I hate the future!

    • Leo: This new battle simulator is great, Cody. Master Splinter: It is as my sons would say, "Totally Awesome".

    • Raph: Yo Could you yahoos keep it down? I'm trying to read. Mikey: I was wondering why your lips were moving. Mikey and Don laugh

    Notes (2)

    • Viral is one of the villains in the Fast Forward theme song

    • Villains in this episode: Viral (1st Appearance) and Viral-controlled Serling.

    Trivia (2)

    • Splinter's lesson to Cody was of the mind body connection, and that both need to be developed. He used the example of Don's mind and the rest of the turtles bodies. It would have made more sense, and been a better lesson to have pointed out Don's body strength and agility which rescued both him and Cody, in addition to his mind.

    • Splinter seems to have disappeared in the dojo when Viral returns to check up on the Turtles, without showing any way of him escaping. (The only way out was through the doors, and those were sealed shut)

    Allusions (3)

    • The holographic constructs at the beginning of the episode were traditional folk tale wood elves in the likeness of Legolas from Lord of the Rings.

    • The Legend of Zelda At the beginning of the episode, Leonardo fights a whole bunch of short guys. They all look similar to Link, the hero from the Legend of Zelda game series. The next guy they fight looks alot like a more primal Ganondorf, the main villian in the same series of games

    • Wild West Cowboys of Moo Mesa The program simulation with cow cowboys is a nod to the cartoon Wild West Cowboys of Mesa. Wild West C.O.W.boys of Moo Mesa was a Saturday morning series that ran on ABC from 1992 to 1994. C.O.W. in this case was an acronym for Code Of the West.
