    The Proposal

    By sh811a, May 28, 2009

It's another of those proposal episodes but it's one of those ones that are done right and is actually entertaining.

This episode kept me entertained from begining to end, it's true the plot with the ring is nothing entirely speical it's your typical Dr. Jekell and Mr. Hyde story but it's really what happens to the characters and what they do that matters.

The begining half was both funny and sweet at the same time, when at first Casey is in a tuxcedo (he actually looks good in one) and April are both on a boat, he tries proposing but it's of course a failure from that silly love speach down to the bees that make both of them fall off balance as if fate is telling Casey to change his game plan. Which he does once their on shore he gives a better speach, and then the ring which was sweet.

But of course that's just the begining of their problems, I really like seeing that evil side of April. Which is a bit funny but then starts to get a bit scary. From summoning some really nasty monster, one of them looked like aracnids from the film "Starship Troopers". But of course two of my favorate moments were seeing her jump around the street like "Spider Man" but of course the best part was the monsterious transformation which doesn't disapoint she looks like a female version of "Venom" only bigger. But at it's core the episode is an endearing love story on one man that is willing do anything for the woman he loves and that of course is what engagement is.moreless

It finally happened, Casey has proposed to April O' Niel! To bad the ring has turned his finance into a monster.

This episode was great from begining to end. It was funny how Raph teased Casey for being a total nutcase around women when they went to shop for an engagement ring, but the ring they get is the ring of Yin, and as soon as Casey slips it onto April's finger it starts to turn her into a monster. Hun and the Purple dragons are after the ring as well, and Hun is surprised when he sees Raphael, and so are the other purple dragons. Obivously Hun told that he had destroyed the turtles, and when he saw Raph he said " must be a fake," Anyway April got captured and turned into this monster, and the only way to change her back is if Casey pulls the ring off. It's a hard fight but eventually April returns to normal, and the ring of Yin gets replaced by a real engagement ring. I expect wedding bells any time now. Wonderful episode, can't wait for the next one.moreless
