  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (5)

    • Leo: Raph, couldn't you have boosted something a little less--Oh, I don't know--conspicuous? Raph: What're you kiddin'? This puppy's practically invisible, it blends so well. (A tank drives by a group of tanks) Tank Driver: Hey, those guys stole my tank! Leo: Yeah, real invisible. (Raph smiles cheesily)

    • Michelangelo: Hi guys... Bye Guys! (Throws chips in the soldiers' faces and makes a brake for it)

    • Raphael: Mind if I barrow your tank?

    • Michelangelo: If I'm going down, then I'm going down fighting!

    • Prof. Honeycutt: I found some pilots who can get us off this planet. (He points to a Han Solo and Chewbacca look-a-like) Donny and Leo: We can do better.

    Notes (5)

    • Villains: Commanders Mozar and Blanque, Federation Soldiers

    • Prologue Narrator: Leonardo

    • The alien Ninja Rats who appear in a quick shot in the sewers also appear in the video game "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus" in a boss battle, but they, and their Turtle Sensei, speak clear english instead of the alien language heard in this episode.

    • This 5-Parter is based on issues 5 & 6 of Mirage Vol 1.

    • This begins the Five-part "Turtles in Space" story arc

    Trivia (2)

    • The ostensibly 'alien' writing on Honeycutt and the turtles' wanted posters look surprisingly similar to the letters "WNTD."

    • When the Turtles charge at the Federation troops after being transported, the trails of Leo's headband are colored yellow instead of blue.

    Allusions (3)

    • Star Wars Several of the characters throughout this episode--notably the pilots Honeycutt points out and the small, Jawa-like aliens in the marketplace--are visual allusions to Star Wars characters.

    • Styx Mikey: Don't get me wrong, Professor Roboto... Michelangelo puns on the title of the Styx song "Mr. Roboto" to apply it to Professor Honeycutt's unique situation.

    • Rage Against the Machine Leo: Then it's time to rage against the machine! A pun on the name of the hard rock band Rage Against the Machine, used here in a more literal sense (Leo was suggesting the turtles fight a giant machine that was chasing them).
