    • (While April's packing) Mikey: Um April? What are you doing with my Silver Sentry comics? April: Oh, I needed something to wrap my stuff in and these were just laying about so I... (Mikey screams like a girl) April: Calm down Mikey, I'm joking. I know better then to mess with a guy's comics. Mikey: Oh, ha ha, real, funny April. (Walks away)

    • (The Turtles enter their old lair.) Raph: Ahh, there's no place like home.

    • (After getting Leatherhead mad.) Don: Anyone who thinks it was a bad idea to get this thing mad say 'I'. Leo and Raph: I!

    • (When Leatherhead submerged) Raph: Where did he go? Don: I'm not sure, but I'm hoping France.

    • (to Baxter Stockman) Mikey: What's wrong? The Spidey-thing not cutting it with the ladies?

    Notes (4)

    • First appearance of Leatherhead (Although we saw his silhouette in Secret Origins, Part 3 ).

    • This is the first time the turtles except for Mikey have had to fight with each other's weapons: Leo= Don's bo staff. Don= Raph's sais. Raph= Leo's katanas.

    • Villains: Stockman and Turtlebot

    • Prologue Narrator: Michelangelo

    Trivia (5)

    • The Turtles finally return to their old lair after abandoning it in A Better Mouse Trap. Leatherhead's turned what's left of it into his own personal laboratory.

    • April moved back into her apartment in this episode, partly from living with the Turtles and her gain of adequate money to rebuild it.

    • It seemed hypocritical of Stockman to call the Turtles and Leatherhead freaks. They are advanced lifeforms and superior to humans in strength, and when concerning Donatello and Leatherhead, knowledge. Stockman has been ripped apart several times and built into mechancial spawns with even less humanity in him. Who's the freak?

    • Baxter Stockman makes his appearance in this episode as a head in a glass jar encased in an Utrom exoskeleton. He will use the exoskeleton as a body in City at War, but in a different manner.

    • Editor's Note: This will be the only note considering Michelangelo drowning. Any protests will be rejected; we don't need fifteen blurbs arguing about it. Turtles are amphibious reptiles, meaning that they are exothermic land-dwelling animals that can live in the water. However, unlike amphibians, reptiles have lungs and eventually must breathe air from the oxygen. Although a reptile can hold its breath longer than a mammal, a Ninja Turtle would theoretically be able to hold its breath for a large duration.

    Allusions (3)

    • Metalhead The Turtlebot was actually an upgrade of Metalhead, a robot created by Shredder and Krang in the original series to destroy the Turtles. The original Turtlebot, Metalhead, had personalities of others. Metalhead, only christened as the Evil Turtlebot, was featured in the 2003 video game. This Turtlebot was the precursor to the one in the show, being able to predict and copy the players' moves.

    • X-Men Leatherhead is similar to Hank McCoy, A.K.A. the Beast. Both are scientific geniuses cursed with a beastial exterior and rage.

    • Spider-Man There appear to be several references to Dr. Connors from Spider-man combined in Leatherhead: an intelligent mind and reptilian exterior. Another one that may be less noticeable is his lab coat. One of the arms of the coat appears to have been ripped off and loosely sewn back on. Dr. Connors became the Lizard in an effort to replace his lost arm.
