    • Hyde (voice over explaining how he and Jackie got together): It was obvious she wanted me. (in the recollection) Jackie: I want you. Hyde: It's obvious.

    • Eric: How was your first day? Donna: Grim. This nun totally spanked me with a ruler. Fez: Yet another reason I wish I was a ruler.

    • Jackie: Okay, so, um... what exactly did you see? Eric: Hands, tongues, yours, [Hyde]'s... It was horrible! Donna: You were like Siamese twins, joined at the beard.

    • Bob: She's going to that school and that's final. Eric: Ok, fine. But know this, I'm prepared to fight this with every fiber of my being. (Donna walks in, wearing her school uniform) Eric: On the other hand, you can't put a price on a good education.

    • (Eric and Donna are kissing) Kelso: Hey! You two quit it, ok? This circle is sacred, you don't do anything in here that you wouldn't do in a church... no wait, in a cemetery... no wait, in a teacher's lounge... Man, I've done it everywhere.

    Notes (1)

    • This is the second part of a 3-part story-arc

    Trivia (3)

    • In this episode, Eric says that his birthday is in March. This is impossible; in the first episode, That 70s Pilot, it is May, 1976. The next episode, Eric's Birthday, is Eric's 17th birthday. They couldn't have gone 10 months into the future in the span of one episode; the writers obviously made a mistake on when Eric's birthday is.

    • The music used in this episode was: Baby Hold On (1977) by Eddie Money; Imaginary Lover (1976) by Atlanta Rhythm Section; Dancing Queen (1977) by ABBA; Only the Good Die Young (1977) by Billy Joel; The Hallelujah Chorus (from Handel's Messiah) (1741).

    • Hyde and Jackie put "Abba's Greatest Hits" on the turntable and dance to "Dancing Queen". "Abba's Greatest Hits", released in 1976, did not contain "Dancing Queen" (the song was originally released on "Arrival" in 1977).

    Allusions (2)

    • Kelso: Here's what I don't get about Fantasy Island... you know when you get off the plane, and you see Mr. Roarke and that little kid in the white suit? Fantasy Island was a tv show that aired from 1978 to 1984. It was about an island resort where all your fantasies happened. The island was run by Mr. Roarke and his assistant, Tattoo. Tattoo was a Little Person, not a little kid.

    • Eric: Because you're breakin' up the band, Yoko! Yoko Ono had an affair with John Lennon of The Beatles. John and Yoko's relationship is often cited as one of the reasons why the band broke up.
