  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (6)

    • Bob: Midge, you don't know the first thing about having a business. Midge: But there's no risk, Bob. Bob: Why not? Midge: Because it's your money!

    • Jackie: Oh, God, Steven, this is beautiful. You know, this whole experience has taught me that I don't need Michael to go to the Prom. I can go with anyone, even you. Thanks. (she kisses Hyde on the cheek) Hyde: Okay, let's not do that.

    • Fez: Oh, I know who I can ask to the Prom! Hyde: Oh boy! Who Fez? Fez: The lucky lady is... my English teacher! Kelso: Fez, you can't take a teacher to the Prom! Fez: Why not? She's always writing sexy comments on my homework: Nice Job, Good Effort, See Me, I love you... Okay, I made the last one up, but the other ones were real.

    • Jackie: Well, I have a date too. Kelso: Who is he? What's his name? Jackie: His name is... not important. What's important is, he's better than you, in every single conceivable way. Kelso: Damn, Jackie, that could be anybody!

    • Kelso: Hey, I love her. Eric: No, you don't. Kelso: Okay, I don't.

    • Gabriella Pollino (Supervising Hairstylist), Cindy Costello (Hairstylist), Valerie Scott (Hairstylist), and Deborah Ann Piper (Hairstylist) were nominated for an Emmy in the category of "Outstanding Hairstyling for a Series" for their work in this episode.

    Trivia (4)

    • When Eric imagines how prom will be, he imagines Donna's exact blue dress, he wouldn't be able to do that because Donna tells Jackie she just got it that day.

    • The music used in this episode is: Slow Ride (1975) by Foghat; I'm Not In Love (1975) by 10CC; Free Bird (1973) by Lynyrd Skynyrd; I Will Survive (1978) by Gloria Gaynor.

    • When Mrs. Clark is singing "I Will Survive," she's using a wireless microphone. Definitely not possible in the 70's.

    • In the scene where Kitty and Midge are talking about work, there is a box of Krispy Kreme donuts on the counter. The logo that is on the box was not used on Krispy Kreme boxes until the mid 80's.

    Allusions (1)

    • Hyde's Mom(off camera): They're all going to laugh at you! This is an allusion to the movie Carrie, based on Stephen King's novel. In the movie, Carrie White's mother, Margaret (Piper Laurie), tells her that everyone is going to laugh at her as Carrie (Sissy Spacek) is leaving to go to the prom.
