  • "The 70th Annual Academy Awards" were held on March 23, 1998 from the Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles, California. James Cameron's mega-blockbuster film Titanic didn't only rule the box office but this year's Oscars as well, netting itself a total of 14 nominations, 11 of which turned into wins.
