  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (19)

    • Siding Salesman: How strong is our new Krebstar super siding? Its twin-polymer coating stands up to hail, heat, and even a full-grown man running into it repeatedly at full speed! Artie: Strong... as Kansas!

    • McFlemp: Oh, no pressure Artie. If you act now, I'll throw in a free pair of slacks. Artie: Whoa! Whoa!! Of the permanent press variety? McFlemp: As permanent as the stars.

    • Papercut: Very clever, but you know I'll be back. And next time, I'll be laminated!

    • Dad: You know, son, I'm gonna miss that mutant.

    • Big Pete voice-over: What is it that makes a superhero? Is it muscles of steel? The ability to see brick walls? To turn yourself into a human butane torch? ...or is it smaller? Like with Artie-- a way of looking at the world and making everything in it seem a little bit stranger and a little bit better.

    Notes (1)

    • Technically, this is not Toby Huss's swan song on "P&P"; he appears as the home economics teacher in "X=Why?," an episode that aired after this episode, but was listed before this episode in its DVD release, most likely to make Artie's retirement the same as Huss's retirement from the series, as well.

    Trivia (2)

    • Look Closely: Of the Artie merchandise is a hat that says "PIPE!," an Artie action land canoe, a shirt that says "Artie Lives!" with "Don't Give Up Hope" on the other side, and two different colored flags.

    • This is the first time someone mentions that Artie enjoys the smell of tire aire and armpit noises, which reminds him of his mother.
