  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (4)

    • Big Pete: (narrating) This is the Craftsbuilt 2000, also known as "the Gashmaster". Its 17-inch blade with 248 steel teeth can slice a telephone pole in half in 9.2 seconds. The way I see it, anything with 248 teeth should not be allowed in a school! If you screw up using the Craftsbuilt 2000 or the Nortron F-7 Grinder or the Impreg Rotary Lathe, best case, you'll go home minus a thorax.

    • Big Pete: Tools; They're loud, they're sharp, and they can kill you. And what do you end up with after risking your limbs and life? A spice rack.

    • Little Pete: Our motto is: "When you least expect it.. expect it!"

    • Ellen: If you stare at the flame long enough, you can see its soul. Wanna look, Pete?

    Notes (2)

    • This is the first appearance of "Endless" Mike Hellstrom.

    • In the later episode "Road Warrior," Mr. Slurm is played by a different actor.

    Trivia (2)

    • Look Closely: When Mr. Slurm picks Older Pete for his special project you can see that Alicia Keys is an extra in the group of students

    • In some shots, you can tell that the arm that holds Mr. Slurm's mechanical hand is longer than his other one, most likely because his real hand was being covered up and controlling the mechanical hand from underneath his sleeve.
