An army major and his sergeant have an unhealthy codependency
The Barkley's once again play host to military personnel with unresolved issues.
Major Jonathan Eliot is a kind of Norman Bates loose in the Old West. Eliot has some unresolved mother-son issues that have plagued him all his life, and he takes those out on many of the ladies that unknowingly cross his path. When the "pure" Audra catches his eye, he believes he can be saved from the demons that plague him by this human antithesis of his mother. But when his marriage proposal doesn't exactly go as planned, the spurned suitor goes a wee bit nuts.
The subplot involves the major taking orders on alcohol abuse from his life coach, a wacky Irishman who under-ranks him and has a host of problems of his own.
All in all, an entertaining episode but with some repeat scenarios.
