  • Bob Hope's guests are Milton Berle, Juliet Prowse, Sammy Davis Jr. and Petula Clark. With Les Brown and his Band of Reknown. Highlights: Bob plays a comic who gets murdered by loudmouth Milton Berle. Petula and Bob play light-hearted hobos. Bob plays Professor Gladhand a lousy finger-shadow artist whose act is saved by shapely Juliet. Petula sings a medley of "Penny Lane", "Eleanor Rigby" and "All You Need is Love". Sammy Davis Jr. sings "Vehicle". Juliet performs to a George M. Cohan medley. Bob & Sammy duet on "Smile, Darn Ya, Smile" and "Let A Smile Be Your Umbrella".moreless
