  • Episode Description
  • Marcia becomes involved with Jerry Rogers, a quarterback for the Fairview team. Greg immediately tells Marcia the only reason he's dating her is to get his playbook, a notion Marcia scoffs at, but no one is scoffing when he actually does swipe the playbook.

  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Notes (1)

    • Mike berated Greg about making up the bogus playbook when Jerry tried to steal one. He said he was operating on Jerry's level. The only ones who knew the playbook was fake, besides Greg, were Peter and Bobby.

    Trivia (2)

    • When the boys are playing football in the back yard, during a play Greg kicks up a crease in the fake lawn.

    • Continuity goofs: This episode and the previous one were reversed. Because, as you can see, the girls room is still pink. They didn't get the yellow wallpaper until the previous episode. Note: This episode was filmed two full episodes before this one. It was just shown out of order. The production code numbers in the upper right corners of these guides will show what order the shows were actually done it. The episode number will show you the order on TV.

    Allusions (1)

    • Mike says about Tank: "I know the type. You feed him a stalk of bananas and let him swing from the trees out back, right, Alice?"

This is a reference to guest star Denny Miller's previous roles as both Tongo the Ape Man on Gilligan's Island and before that, as the title character in the 1959 low budget feature film, Tarzan, the Ape Man.
