  • Episode Description
  • Both Robert Reed puts in double duty as Great-Grandpa Brady as does Florence Henderson when she portrays Great-Grandma Hutchins in an episode where the Brady kids play matchmakers and try to get Grandpa Brady and Grandma Hutchins together. However, their efforts may all be for naught when an argument erupts between Grandma and Grandpa during a romantic dinner.

  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (1)

    • Great-Grandpa Brady: With it? Far out? Children nowadays seem to have trouble expressing themselves in words from the English language. Jan: That's modern English, Grandpa. Great-Grandpa Brady: Modern perhaps, English, no.

    Notes (4)

    • Florence Henderson plays Great Grandma Hutchins in this episode. Shewould play Grandma Brady in the 1995 movie The Brady Bunch Movie.

    • This seems to be the only "relative" of Mike's you'll ever see over the course of the series! Carol had: Aunt Jenny, Niece Myrna Carter, Nephew Oliver, Mom & Pop (pilot show). Not to mention those you don't see but are talked about: The sickly aunt she went to take care of season 1 and Cousin Gertrude from the teeter-totter episode.

    • The old folk are actually Great Grandparents (and Step-Great Grandparents) to the kids. Only Marcia seems to realize this when she calls the old man Great Grandpa Brady.

    • Florence Henderson and Robert Reed portray dual roles in this episode.

    Trivia (1)

    • When Grandma Hutchins arrives Alice tells the girls to take their books while she sheow her where she'll stay. When shes says that her voice is differnt and alice lips don't move this is because they added that line in in later.
