    Trivia (5)

    • The scientist seen in Water, Water Every Hare is unnamed here, but in an appearance on the Duck Dodgers TV series, in the episode "Enemy Yours", he is addressed as Dr. Woe. Though often mistaken for Vincent Price, he is actually voiced by John T. Smith, a voice actor with uncanny vocal similarities to Price.

    • The hair monster seen here was first introduced in the short Hair-Raising Hare (1946), where he was unnamed. Here, he is called Rudolph. In a later cartoon, Duck Dodgers and the Return of the 24½th Century (1980), he is called Gossamer.

    • The plot of Water, Water Every Hare is very similar to the short Hair-Raising Hare (1946).

    • The Chocolate Chase is very similar to the short Speedy Gonzales (1955), where Sylvester keeps away the mice from getting the cheese at the AJAX cheese factory and the mice use Speedy Gonzales to outsmart Sylvester.

    • The Chocolate Chase marks the last true battle between Daffy Duck and Speedy Gonzales.

    Allusions (1)

    • Water, Water Every Hare - Title The title of this short is a reference to the line "Water, water, everywhere / Nor any drop to drink" from Samuel Taylor Coleridge's poem The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.
