    • (Traylor is bragging about her new SUV) Kellie: Doesn't that get like, 4 miles to the gallon? Traylor: (mutters under her breath) I wish. Kellie: Don't you care about the environment? Traylor: No, when I hit a deer, it doesn't even make a dent.

    • (Drew and Kellie are discussing the topic of gun control) Drew: I did some reading, and it turns out all shooting deaths are caused by guns.

    • (Oswald and Mimi are arm wrestling) Drew: Hey Oswald, don't forget to pull the head off, or she'll never die.

    • Traylor: I'll be right back, I left my door unlocked, and everybody in the office hates me.

    • Drew: Yeah, Fair and Balanced, just like the slogan. Kellie: They're about as fair and balanced as my grandmother's breasts.

In the song The Devil Went Down to Georgia by The Charlie Daniels Band, a young fiddle player named Johnny is challenged to a fiddling contest by the Devil. If the Devil wins, he gets Johnny's soul. If Johnny wins, he gets a gold fiddle. In the end, the Devil acknowledges that Johnny is the better fiddle player and gives him the gold fiddle.
