    • Mimi: Oh great, we're screwed. We're a couple of marginally skilled employees, in our forties with kids to support. Drew: Yeah, you're screwed, but I've got plastic shoes coming.

    • Helen (referring to Oswald): What's wrong with him? Mimi: Everyone has a theory, but I think it's cousin sex.

    • Lewis: Tonight on the news... Oswald: Is air making you fat? Lewis: Are prostitutes using your tool shed? Oswald: Are you going to the bathroom incorrectly? Lewis: Our panel of judges will tell you tonight at 6.

    • Lewis: Coming up next, are you a sex offender?

    • Drew Carey was the only cast member to appear n every episode of the series!

    • The employee Mr. Wick fires is named Johnson. This is a running gag that started about the same time Mr. Wick started as manager where he would find a new way to fire an employee (usually) named "Johnson."

    • Theme: "Moon over Parma" by Squirrel Nut Zippers.

    Trivia (2)

    • As Drew takes the gun away from Mr. Wick's mistress, someone's left arm comes into the shot on the right side of the screen.

    • During the credits, when a clip with Lewis is shown his voice is heard over the music.

    Allusions (1)

    • Title: "The Passion of the Wick"
This episode title appears to be based off the widely successful movie "The Passion of the Christ."
