  • The Eddie Fisher Show alternated every two weeks with The George Gobel Show during its two-year run. Both Eddie Fisher and George Gobel made frequent guest appearances on each other's shows for song, dance and comedy sketches. Several big name performers that appeared on Eddie's show were Bob Hope, Charlton Heston, Charles Laughton and Jimmy Durante.

    • The Eddie Fisher Show was pre-empted on November 26, 1957 for "Pied Piper of Hamelin", a musical special starring Van Johnson and Claude Rains, directed by Bretaigne Windust. Music adapted from works of Grieg, principally his "Peer Gynt" suite. Books and Lyrics by Hal Stanley and Irving Taylor, based on the Robert Browning poem.
