  • show Description
  • A scientific expedition in the Atlantic Ocean headed by Dr. Paul Jordan becomes lost in the Bermuda Triangle and washes up on an uncharted island. In the pilot episode they meet Varian, a man from the 23rd century who tells them about a place to the East called Evailand where they can find a door way back to their own time. Most of the group either died or made it home leaving Varian, Fred Walters and Paul's 13 yr. old son Scott to make their way east. Along the way they meet up with travelers from other times, planets and dimensions who have also become trapped. Liana, a woman with an alien mother and an Atlantium father with her cat Sil-l, is the first to join them. Then Jonathan Willoway, a scientist from the 60s is invited to join. Together they travel through portals from one dimension to the next hoping to find the one that leads home.moreless

  • Quotes (5)

    • (Scott is tracing the Bermuda Triangle on a chart) Ben: Hey, Carl. Unless I've missed my guess, we've got us a Bermuda Triangle freak onboard. Scott: Well, we're gonna be going right through it. Ben: So? Scott: So, a lot of ships went in and never came out again. Ben: Uh-huh. Well, not this one.

    • Willaway: Rachel, I thought I told you to be quiet about the swamp.
Rachel: But she was so concerned about her friends.
Willaway: Make no mistake about this. If you ever mention the swamp to anyone ever again, I will take you apart.

    • Scott: But I still don't get it. If Apollonius has the power to take over the body of another person, how come he hasn't done it already and gotten out of here? Varian: Maybe that's part of the curse. That he go on trying and trying and he'll never succeed. Fred: So that he repeats that same ritual over and over again throughout eternity? Wow. Over and over again. Only to have his hopes crushed every time.

    • Varian: This is amazing. All these rides. As I remember from the history books, most people used to come to frighten themselves. Yet there's nothing here that, that seems anything but bemusing. Fred: Yeah, well, if you've ever ridden the Big Cyclone at the Pike, you might get the idea. Scott: Oh, Fred, they've got everything. Fred: Everything but people. Hello! Anybody home?! Willaway: What's that line they used to say in all those cowboy movies? "Awful quiet." Fred: Yeah, partner. Too quiet.

    • Willaway: Let's just push straight on through to the next zone, huh? Fred: What's the matter with you? Willaway: I've got a funny feeling. Fred: Oh, Willaway, where is that inquisitive scientific mind? Willaway: It is figuring that what I don't know won't hurt me.
