    • Does the good inspector work to love or love to work? He stands up the beautiful Joanna (Lee Meriwether) on a date--again! Joanna is suppose to be Erskine's love interest but he seems more interested in his cases.

    • First appearance of the 1957 Ford Ranchero (yellow/white). In the opening scene, it is parked with the tailgate towards the camera.

    • Looking at the case file number, I cannot help but wonder if this was TV´s first X-file ...

    • In a rare human episode, Barbara Erskine and Jim Rhodes set their wedding date - a move strongly opposed by Barbara´s father, Inspector Lewis Erskine, whose wife died in an F.B.I. shoot-out. These personal interactions between the lead characters would fade over time.
