    • Michael Conrad was known for his portrayal of SGT. Phil Esterhaus in the 1980's cop show "Hill Street Blues".

    • J.D. Cannon was well known for playing Chief of Detectives Peter B. Clifford, NYPD on the TV series McCloud.

    • The good inspector goes undercover as a mental patient to see if the bad guy (Tabor) is faking a mental breakdown to avoid testifying in a federal case. The question never answered was if Tabor were truly faking or if he did indeed have a dehabilitating mental condition. So maybe he did not go "mad by mistake." By the way, no interesting cars.

    • This is Anthony Eisley┬┤s only appearance as Special Agent Kirby Greene; the part was later played by Grant Williams, James McKrell, and Phil Dean. Eisley went on to play Special Agent Chester "Chet" Randolph in more than a dozen episodes of "The F.B.I.".
