  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (2)

    • Fred: It just isn't right! It's unreasonable, unjustifiable, undesirable, unsuitable, underhanded, unwarranted, unfair, and just plain unpatriotic! Us husbands weren't put on this Earth to do dishes.

    • (After losing their bridge game) Fred: Barney, I sure wish you'd learn how to play bridge. Barney: But, Fred-- Fred: We blew it on account of your dumb playing. Barney: But--but--but, Fred, don't blame me. I was the dummy. You made the decisions. Fred: Oh. Well, you ought to learn how to get better cards!

    Notes (2)

    • This episode was recorded on 8-28-64.

    • This episode was syndicated for many years without the correct closing credit sequence (it seems like the credits for "The Bedrock Hillbillies" were used instead).

    Trivia (4)

    • The gun molls are called Cookie Quartz and Tootsie Stopstone.

    • Pop culture references: Jackie Gleastone (Jackie Gleason), the Stone Dust Club (the Stardust Club), the Waldorf-Astonia (Waldorf Astoria), and Charlie the Tuna.

    • Goof: Fred is on the sidewalk after falling out the window, yet he's also sitting in the car!

    • After Fred gets thrown out the window the first time, you can see Barney in the background, but for that one shot his hair is black and his suit is orange.

    Allusions (1)

    • This episode is a parody of a now-forgotten 1960s cop show called Burke's Law, about a millionaire cop named Amos Burke. The TV show on the Flintstones is called 'Boulder's Rules', and the cop is named Aaron Boulder.
