    • Will: Look. All right? Now, I know the 2 of you are upset about me not graduating. Okay? But you'll get over it. Okay? You'll have to! All right? 'Cause I made up my mind, and nothin' either of you can say is gonna change that. Okay? 'Cause I'm a man. All right? With strong man emotions! And there's no way that this man is gon' get up on that stage and embarass himself at graduation! No! No! NO!

    • Mrs. Bassin: Okay, students. Don't forget to get here early tomorrow, so you can be measured for your costumes for the recital. (all students leave, except Will, who reacts) Will: Recital? Mrs. Bassin: That's right. Will: Uh, Mrs. Bassin, my sister, listen. I appreciate everything you tryin' to do for me, but look. I'm not about to embarass myself in front of a group of strangers. Mrs. Bassin: Mr. Smith, my brother, you're not going to embarass yourself in front of a group of strangers. Will: That's what I said. Mrs. Bassin: You'll be performing for your friends at graduation. Will: What? Are you trippin'?! No way! Mrs. Bassin: Then you won't be able to graduate, I'm afraid. (she leaves, but Will calls out to her) Will: Then I'm afraid I'm not gonna be able to sign your YEARBOOK!!

    • (Will and the kids are nearing the end of Musical Jeopardy!) Mrs. Bassin: Now, for the final question. The answer is: a cleft. (most of the kids raise their hands, but Will stands up) Will: I know! I know! Um, um, what is that thing that Michael Jackson had built into his chin?

    • Will: (after his team failed on Musical Jeopardy!) What you are lookin' at? Michael: Not much. Will: Hey, look, man, we can take this out to the monkey bars! Michael: Anytime, anyplace! Will: I'm just kiddin'. You da man.

    • Philip interviewing applicant for babysitting Philip: So, Janie, wen did you first deiced you wanted to take care of children? Janie: When I was so instructed by the Lord of the Eighth Circle. (suspenseful music plays)

    • Janet Hubert-Whitten does not appear in this episode even though she's credited for the last time.

    Trivia (2)

    • Janet Hubert-Whitten left the show after finishing the third season. Daphne Maxwell Reid took over her role as Vivian Banks for the final three seasons. Apparently Janet, Will Smith, and the producers were not getting along well. She was offered a contract for the fourth season but she decided not to sign.

    • Goof: During the end credits, Jeff Townes (Jazz) is listed with incorrect information. He is listed as Jeffrey A. Townes as DJ Jazzy Jeff. The name of Jeffrey's character in the show is Jazz, not DJ Jazzy Jeff. Someone confused the name of the character with Jeff's name in music.
