    • Dorothy: Ma, wake up, I have to talk to you. Sophia: Dorothy, I was having a dream I was stranded on a desert island with Cesar Romero in a loin cloth. Dorothy: Ma, I have a problem. Sophia: Dorothy, do you know that blue washcloth in my bathroom? Dorothy: Yeah. Sophia: That's how big the loincloth was, goodnight.

    • Blanche: (about Rose claiming that she and her husband had sex every single night) Rose, I find this a little hard to believe. I mean, you don't even like to talk about sex! Rose: Well, it's been my experience that people who talk about it a lot don't actually do it very often.

    • Blanche: There's going to be an I Love Lucy marathon on tonight, I'm setting up for 12 hours of classic television. Sophia: I never cared for that show, in every episode Lucy says the same thing, "Ricky, why can't I be in the show?" "Ricky, why can't I be in the show?" Why couldn't she be in the show? Her shows at home were a riot, his shows at the club stank, what's so entertaining about a Cuban beating a drum?

    • Dennis: Listen, Mom, I don't know why I did what I did. But I am determined to make this up to Kate. I love her. I won't do it again. Dorothy: Well, I hope not, Dennis, because if you do I will break every bone in your hand.

    • Dorothy: I can't stand any more of this. Rose: Blanche, I thought you said everybody loved Lucy!

    • Goof: In the kitchen when Dorothy is talking about her daughter taking back her cheating husband, there's a bowl of grapes on the table in front of Sophia. When the camera switches, the grapes are gone. When it moves back, the grapes are back, and then they're gone again.
