  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (5)

    • Rose: (on the phone) Mr. Yamamoto? From school? I'm so sorry. I thought you were the man Dorothy was having an affair with!

    • Dorothy: We spent the evening at a motel. Rose: A motel! Dorothy! A cheap, tawdry, bare-bulbed, den of iniquity? Dorothy: We didn't drive to Sodom and Gomorrah, Rose!

    • Rose: (Dorothy's on the phone with Glenn) Hang up on that bedhopper. If he wants to talk, or hop, let him do it with his wife. Blanche: Don't do that, he cares for you, hop, hop.

    • Sophia: (to Dorothy) I raised you to have respect for yourself. Not be somebody's floozy.

    • Blanche: I am finally going to do something you’ve heard me talk about doing for years. Sophia: You decided to install a trapeze over your bed?

    Notes (3)

    • Alex Rocco, who plays Glenn in this episode, is known as Moe Green, the Las Vegas casino owner whom Al Pacino's Michael Corleone visits and later has killed in the 1972 Oscar-winning film, The Godfather.

    • The background shot during the closing credits features Dorothy on the phone with Glen, as Rose and Blanche try to convince her to do the right thing, in their minds.

    • This episode gets a follow up in season 5 with "Cheaters" when Glen re-enters Dorothy's life. In that episode, Glen is played by Jerry Orbach not Alex Rocco.

    Trivia (2)

    • In this episode Blanche states she has never been with a married man, but in a later episode she declares that she was once with a man whose wife was in ICU, but justified herself because the woman was not prounounced legally dead.

    • In this episode, Blanche urges Dorothy to continue her affair with Glenn for the sake of passion and romance. However, in subsequent episodes Blanche is vehemently opposed to having affairs herself, one time emphatically stating, "Blanche Devereax does not sleep with married men!"
