  • Episode Description
  • Private Investigator Nat Pyle informs Britt that he has proof, for a story, that presumed dead racketeer Glen Connors, is still alive. Shortly later, Nat is found floating dead in the harbor from a possible boating accident. The Green Hornet thinks otherwise and finds a special interest, because..... Glen Connors framed the Green Hornet's real father.

  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (2)

    • Scanlon: Well, I think you might as well write that off. Pyle was a lush and an opportunist. Britt: You don't write off the chance that Glen Connors may still be alive. He was one of the men who framed my father.

    • (Talking to Mike) Britt: I could never forget about the Green Hornet. You won't let me. Come on Elaine, it's a perfect day for sailing. Elaine: You know, if I were a man, I would devote myself to catching that dreadful Green Hornet. Mike: (Scoffs) Ha!...Ha! Casey: Don't put her down, Mike. She just might do it. Mike: (Scoffs) Ha!

    Notes (1)

    • Victor Jory, who plays the villain (Charles Delaclaire / Glen Connors) was The Shadow in the 1940's radio serial The Shadow.

    Allusions (1)

    • The famously wealthy and reclusive Charles Delaclaire was inspired by Howard Hughes. This is an early example of what a decade later would be a cliche.
