  • show Description
  • This show started out as Grim & Evil which combined The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and Evil Con Carne In The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, we meet the idiot named Billy and the snotty girl named Mandy, who apparently win a bet with the Grim Reaper over a sick hamster, making him have to be their best friend forever! These adventures show how much they drive him crazy! Character Guide: Billy: A happy-go-lucky kid who's cheerful disposition seems to make him completely oblivious to the fact that he is an idiot! Mandy: A sour, unhappy firm girl who seems to "babysit" Grim and Billy. Grim, or The Grim Reaper: He seems to have a scary effect on people, but Billy and Mandy gain control of Grim after a game of limbo over the live of Billy's hamster. Irwin: Billy and Mandy's friend. At some times, Irwin is afraid of Billy, and has a crazy love obsession with Mandy even though she utterly dispised him with a strong passion. Nergal: A crazy, maniacal demon from the center of the Earth's core who's obsessed with making friends.moreless

    • Billy: So am I getting any presents? Grim: No. I'm just here for the hamster.

    • Grim: I never lose at a limbo competition! I'm the Grim Reaper! The master of the forces of life and death!! Mandy: Not anymore.

    • Billy:(to Mandy) Oh, look! It's Santa, Santa Claws! Mandy: (to Billy) That's not Santa, you stooge. That's The Grim Reaper.

    • Grim: I'm afraid it's curtains for Mr. Snuggles. Billy: You got him curtains?

    • Billy: (about Grim taking Mr. Snuggles) Ooh, can he have me too? Mandy: Yes.

    • Grim: (angrily) Oh! I am not going to kiss your stinky, smelly, drooling mutt! Mandy: You aren't? 'Cause that means you are.

    • Mandy: (taking out a flashlight) C'mon Billy, let's try to catch the fairy again.

    • Mandy: Maybe it's because... oh, what's the word I'm looking for? Oh yes. (puts her flashlight up to her face) Scary. Billy: Oh, oh! And he's ugly! Grim: I'm supposed to be scary and ugly! Billy: And his breath smells too! Grim: (quickly checks his breath) Well, your breath would smell if you were a pile of rotting bones, too!

    Notes (769)

    • Grim originally came to reap the soul of Billy's hamster, but ended up befriending Billy and Mandy forever.

    • This is the only episode where it's impossible for Grim to eat or drink due to him being a skeleton.

    • The first episode of this series.

    • At the end of any episode of this show, if you reverse the end theme you can hear the creator, Maxwell Atoms, saying "No, No this is the end of the show, you're watching it backwards."

    • Serial appearances of The Grim Reaper, Billy, Mandy, Billy's Mom and Dad.

    • Billy's House looks different in this episode.

    • The Pilot of Evil Con Carne originally aired between these 2 episodes when the show was "Grim and Evil"

    • In ''Meet The Reaper,'' the animation looks different than later episodes.

    Trivia (344)

    • Grim's voice is slightly lower in this episode than in others. His Jamaican accent is also not as strong.

    • Mandy technically cheated in the limbo game, but Grim never spoke up.

    • At the end of "Meet the Reaper", a close-up shows Mandy reading Friedrich Nietzsche's "The Will to Power".

    • Mandy actually smiles in this episode. But in other episodes, she doesn't smile and they say she never did, which messes up the natural order. (Correction: Because this is a pilot, Maxwell Atoms changed a lot of rules about the series, such as weather Mandy can smile and grim can eat or drink)

    • Grim is shown to be incapable of drinking in this episode, yet drinks perfectly normal in later episodes.

    • Harold says "I better get the flail", but comes back later with a mace.

    • In Skeletons in the Water Closet, Mr. Snuggles is brown and young. In the previous show, he is gray and sick.

    • Mandy said she doesn't support cheating in "Substitute Creature", so shouldn't Grim have won this bet since Mandy cheated by calling Mr. Snuggles and Grim was distracted on purpose? Reply: But if that was the case, there would be no show.

    • Grim: I don't even know how to hold this stupid thing! This is a reference to many inexperienced gamers not knowing how to hold the odd interface of the Nintendo 64 controller.
