  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (8)

    • Censoring Trooper: (After misreading the 'signals' and showing returning to the show durign the battle) Whew! That was entirely my bad! I misread the signals! I knew a guy named "Joe". He misread the signals in a combat situation - now he eats everything through a mechanical straw!

    • Boogie: I blame cartoons, and video games, and... the tuba...

    • Daddy Elf: Dirty dwarf! King Beardbottom: Beardless elf! Billy: Stop it! Stop the fighting! What do you guys have to hate each other?! Can't you see you're just like peas and mashed potatoes? Some people don't like them to touch each other if they're on the same plate. But it's okay. It's okay if they touch. Because they get chewed up by the mouths, (quickly) and sent down to the esophagus, and dissolves into the stomach, and absorbs into the intestines, and- well, I won't go any further than that! (normal) But the point is, we are just nutrients in the great, big digestive system called "life"!

    • King Beardbottom: May the winds of food groups fly you safely, Billy. ¡Laven sus manos! Other Dwarves: ¡Laven sus manos! Billy: (Dresses as an elf) Lava blah ma blah!

    • Billy: (singing at a karaoke) Better than candy, you're so dandy, buttercup dancer, I love you!

    Notes (12)

    • Goof: After the dwarf shows Billy the bracelet, the bracelet disappears.

    • Main Villain Bio: Boogie Man - He was a high school bully who torments Grim. He visits the humans at night to scare them.

    • Main Villain(s): Boogie Man

    • One if the two humans accepting the gift of the hamburger industry is dressed as a clown. This is poking fun at the infamous franchise, McDonald's, who used Ronald McDonald, a clown figure, in order to advertise fast food to children.

    • The song that Billy sings at the karaoke at the end of "Here Thar Be Dwarves!" is the same song that Sperg is practicing in Tricycle of Terror. In fact, it's the same part.

    Trivia (2)

    • Goof: When Boogie scared the 15-year old kid, the kid spilt milk on the floor. However, when Boogie reached in the fridge, the milk was inside there as if it never spilled on the floor. Also, the spilt milk on the floor disappeared.

    • The "Billy Biscuits" Grim makes are clearly muffins.

    Allusions (8)

    • When grim is searching for milk he says 'Not the soda, not the purple stuff...' This is a referance to the old Sunny Delight commercials, and was also used in an episode of Evil Con Carne where Hector Con Carne was searching for the liquid to his brain jar.

    • Character: The clothing that the Sarge (R. Lee Ermey) wears is an animated version of his Marine Corps uniform that he wears in Mail Call.

    • Dwarves: ¡Laven sus manos! In Spanish, this means, "Wash your hands!"

    • The bears that chase Billy are clearly Yogi Bear and Boo-Boo from the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon.

    • The part of the episode that explains why the dwarves and elves are at war is a reference to the movie, Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. King Beardbottom even introduces the scene as "after the great Battle for Midwestern Earth." This also relates to "Lord of the Rings," because there's a battle for Middle Earth, where the characters of the Tolkien novel live.
