    • Morgan:I was hoping for a very expensive tee shirt. Nick: We're gonna play Elliot: Correction we're in the super bowl Coleman: Have a good time at the gam maybe next year well all go together.

    Notes (60)

    • The series is based upon the Monday Night Football Club books by Gordon Korman. Nick, Coleman, Elliot and Hilary are in the books.

    • The actress playing Morgan's mother appears to be listed as Susie in the closing credits, but after the pilot she is called by the name April Hudson.

    • At the end, Morgan tries on the Jersey and powerfully breaks a window with a football. As she doesn't disappear but some transformation seems to take place, this might be the first example of the jersey taking the abilities of a player and swapping them with the jersey wearer, as Elliot discovers in a later episode.

    • Willie Roaf currently plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.

    • Jason Sehorn is currently out of the NFL.

    • Clint Mathis currently plays for Hannover 96, a club team in Germany.

    • Cobi Jones currently plays for the Los Angeles Galaxy.

    Trivia (12)

    • When Nick, Coleman, and Elliot are inside and Morgan is on the outside of the Lighter's house Nick says "We're not taking new members!" and the conversation goes on until Mrs. Hudson says "Let's go, we have to get everything unpacked before your father gets home." We all know Morgan's mom and dad are divorced, so why would he be moving with them?

    • After Nick jumps into Steve Young, he performs various screwy antics to confirm he's actually jumped into his body. These antics are easily noticed on the huge stadium TV screen, not to mention pointed out by the game announcers. The one obvious thing that doesn't seem to get noticed by anyone was after Nick assumed his QB position on the field---the fact that he was throwing the football with his right hand! Everyone watching the game, from the announcers to the fans should know that Steve Young is left-handed!

    • When Nick is on the bed and the jersey takes him to Super Bowl, he goes and the book he was reading goes too.

    • This contradicts "Fathers and Sons", in which Nick's grandfather was good enough to play semipro ball, meaning that he was probably a very good college player but not a superstar.

    • The credits say "Christian Copeliin"

    • When we see Elliot as Jevon Kearse looking at the computer, the strap on his helmet changes sides in some shots.

    • After Willa takes a Polaroid of Hilary opening the can of soda, the camera moves to show the pictures. A normal Polaroid wouldn't develop that fast.

    • When Hilary is at her locker if you look in the background all of the locks on the lockers are turned around in the next shot after looking at Morgan they were all turned around.

    • Elliot: Arrgghhh! The backstory of Elliott /Dozer turning his frustration and rage into sports stardom is just like The Waterboy with Adam Sandler.
