  • show Description
  • Brilliant sketch comedian Jonathan Winters starred in this, his second attempt at a variety show. The first ran from October 1956 to June of 1957 and was a fifteen minute program. Now an hour long this Bernard/Wintergood Productions for CBS included those wonderful characters Jonathan created like Maude Frickert, Willard, Elwood P. Suggins and many more, along with a stellar cast of regulars for two seasons he entertained and gave us great laughs. This variety show replaced the cancelled "Dundee and the Culhane".moreless
