  • On the series premiere, Ken Murray's guests include actors Gene Lockhart and Alan Hewitt, novelty act Nick Lucas, Franklin Pangborn, and actor Van Helflin. Lockhart and Hewitt recreate a scene from the Broadway hit Death of a Salesman; Heflin participates in a poker game sketch and performs a dramatic bit called "Between Americans"; Pangborn appears just to introduce a dog act; Lucas tap dances while jumping rope. Regulars include future-Stooge Joe Besser, Murray's old radio/vaudeville player Tony Labriola (as Oswald), former silent film star Jack Mulhall, Darla Hood and The Enchanters.moreless
