    • Zelda: There were Moblins in here? When?
Link: About ten seconds ago. There were uhh... fifteen of 'em! But I fought them off, defending the Triforce and your kingdom, but I don't expect any gratitude! No sir! Just a smack in the face is thanks enough for me!
Zelda: Oh Link! I'm sorry! But you made me mad!
      Link: (rubs face) No kidding!

    • Zelda: Who dares to laugh at me?
Gannon: (in disguise) My name isn't important, I simply wish to enter this contest!
Zelda: Oh? Are you an amateur magician then?
Gannon: I am. (causes a bird to appear in his hands)
      Zelda: Fine. Wait your turn.

    • Link: (about Zelda) My kinda girl! Completely crazy!

    • Zelda: (from outside door) It's me, Zelda!
Link: Ah! I almost forgot, after saving the kingdom from evil, the hero gets his reward. (Link opens the door with a smooch and vanishes, there is a sudden SMACK as he comes in with a red face)
Zelda: Don't you EVER whistle at me again!
Link: I may never whistle again period!

    • Link: (Link spies Zelda on her balcony in her nightgown, he wolf whistles at her, causing her to gasp) Nice view, Princess! Especially from this angle!
Spryte: (handling Zelda a robe) I told you, you should've worn a robe!

    • Zelda: Don't you ever clean up in here?
Link: Well, excu-u-use me, Princess, but if I had known you were coming, I'd have asked the Moblins to sweep up after themselves when they left!

    • Link: Yuk! Another beautiful day in the magical kingdom of Hyrule, boring place. I used to roam the world, sleep in mud; a heroes life.

    • Magician: Uh, this is my best spell your highness. It, um, removes the stinkiness from my dirty socks.

    • Missed Kiss Gag: Link refuses to unbuckle his belt that he and Zelda are tied together with unless they kiss. Zelda agrees, but as they're about to kiss, Spryte interrupts and frees them.

    • When Link said "My kind of girl" his mouth didn't move.

    • The sound that emits when the dragon turns back into the lizard is the sound of Link in the Legend of Zelda video game when he reaches the end of his life.

    • The bow and bombs are first used in this episode. They originated in the first Zelda NES game, and were used in nearly all the other games as well.

    • Keese are bats that originated in the first Legend of Zelda NES game, in the underworld levels.

    Trivia (17)

    • In The Legend of Zelda games, Link is left handed but in the show he is right handed.

    • Ganon has the Triforce of Wisdom and he goes into the underground but he doesn't teleport. The reason is that his powers are limited on the surface world.

    • Goof When Spryte is caring for Link, her hair goes bright blond for several angles, and inexplicably changes back to the normal brown.

    • When Link jumps on his horse, he says to her "Let's hit the road, Catherine. This place makes me sick!"But the name of his horse in the games was "Epona".

    • In the scene with the Triforce of Wisdom informing Link about the cure, part of the sheet covering Link disappears and reappears off and on.

    • When the King of Hyrule asks for Link's help Link says "No". While it might seem as his "no" is a response to the King's plea, Link actually means "No, you are not taking the King."

    • Just after Ganon zaps the bridge and causes a portion of it to fall, one moment Link is holding his sword in one hand while the bridge is falling, and the next he is suddenly using both hands to hold on to the rails, with the sword nowhere to be seen. Then Link is suddenly holding the sword again.

    • When Link and Zelda enter the labrynith, neither one of them is shown carrying the Triforce. However, the next time you see them, Zelda is carrying the Triforce.

    • Magical Cleaning
The scene in which Spryte's magic, too powerful for her to control, causes inanimate objects to flood her room while assisting her in her household chores parallels the plot of the Mickey Mouse cartoon The Sorcerer's Apprentice, seen in the Disney film Fantasia.

  • This show along with the Zelda CD-I games are a flat out insult to one of the best game series ever and I hate it

  • Made me puke acid.

    By DreadAngelus, Jun 16, 2012

  • I love the Zelda games, I really do, so when I heard a cartoon existed, I was seriously excited. It was 2 of my favorite things in one. It should have been like turning lead to gold, more like turning gold into diarrhea... I hate this show.
