The Looney Tunes Show resumes new episodes for the new year today!

*First things first, I was surprised to see that new episodes started this week, I thought it wasn't until next week. Luckily, I was able to catch the beginning of the episode still.

*Things begin with Daffy and Porky arriving at a fancy restaurant. I was a little amused by Daffy's conversation with the car valet.

*Apparently, Daffy is trying to teach Porky how to treat himself once in a while. A perfectly sound thing to help someone with, but since it's Daffy trying to help, things are expected o get on the wacky side...

*At Bugs' house, Witch Lezah stops by to ask Bugs if he would babysit Gossamer for her while she goes to the witch's convention in the 5th Dimension. Bugs says he and Daffy would be glad to do so, to which Lezah replies she would like Bugs to come to her house to watch her son. I also got a kick out of how she said she was from Chicago rather then the 5th Dimension.

*Upon hearing about the high value of truffles and how pigs are great at finding them, Daffy gets an idea...

*Bugs heads over to Witch Lezah's house when she is about to leave. I did get a good laugh out of Bugs' assumptions about Witch Lezah being wrong.

*Not long after, Lola arrives with the intent of helping her boyfriend in baby sitting! Naturally things are going to go on the wacky side for Bugs, as well.

*Daffy and Porky's truffle hunting doesn't go too well...until they get lost, that is! Irony at its finest.

*But those two aren't the only ones having troubles...Lola tells Bugs she accidentally turned Gossamer into a frog, when she thought a spell book was a story book!

*As if that wasn't enough, she also accidentally turned Gossamer's alarm clock into a bear!

*The two bunnies see the bear escape, but they manage to get a hold of Gossamer in his new frog form! While Lola initially intends to leave Bugs with this new mess, she quickly changes her mind. Good call, Lola.

*Daffy still hasn't figured out the concept of splitting things even. I got a good chuckle out of his and Porky's conversation about clothes.

*Soon enough...a bear appears out of the bushes! According to Daffy, there hasn't been any bear sightings in this forest for years. Clever way to merge both the episode's stories!

*Lola tries to use some more spells to turn Gossamer back to his normal self...but the spells only end up changing Bugs into a much weirder appearance!

*Back in the forest, Daffy and Porky continue to be chased by the bear...until they end up falling over a waterfall!

*As if the raging rapids weren't enough, the duo are having a hard time keeping a hold of the truffle! Luckily, Porky manages to get a hold of it!

*After getting distracted, the bunnies miss when the frog hops into Speedy's home! Bugs tries to call Speedy to explain the situation, but the quick mouse doesn't believe him!

*Their next choice for help are the Gophers! Bugs assumes their silent staring means they don't believe him, but they assure him they trust his every word...

*The Gophers wanting to redo Speedy's home was pretty funny! They also mention that the backdoor was open...

*Leading the two rabbits to wander by all their neighbors to find the frog! Looks like Tweety was the only one who noticed all the craziness going on.

*Bugs soon gets a call from Witch Lezah who wishes to check on Gossamer. While Bugs tries to be vague and discreet about it, Lola ends up blabbing the situation right down to the last degree. Witch Lezah calmly asks them to get the spell book...

*With Lezah's instructions, Lola manages to utter the spell to return Bugs and Gossamer back to normal...except the frog was actually the alarm clock! Naurally, that means Gossamer is the bear!

*Back in the woods, Daffy manages to make it back on land, but Porky and the truffle are still caught in the rapids! Daffy manages to grab hold of Porky, but he can't hold on much longer!

*Daffy tells Porky to forget about the truffle, once again showing his hidden heart of gold. Definitely a Crowning Moment of Heart Warming! Daffy hanging a lampshade about how he was probably going to forget this epiphany soon was also pretty funny!

*Porky rushes to Bugs and Lola to ask for their help with Daffy with the bear! Hearing about the bear, Bugs quickly brings Porky up to speed about Gossamer's predicament.

*Daffy having got the bear coat from a taxidermy store was pretty obvious, but still chuckle worthy. The bear is waiting on the door step, with which Lola casts the spell to turn him back into Gossamer!

*Upon showing the truffle to Speedy, Daffy learns from the quick mouse that what he found was actually a rather old and big potato! Speedy further explains that truffles can only be found in France and Italy. This gives Daffy yet another idea...

*The episode concludes with Speedy shocked to see his home after the Gophers redesigned it. I got a good laugh out of that!

*On another note of interest, the colors in this episode don't seem nearly as bright as they were in the previous Season 2 episodes!

A very enjoyable episode! It was nice to see Gossamer play a big part in another episode, I quite like this version of him. I also liked how both the stories in the episode came together. All in all, good to have The Looney Tunes Show resume new episodes again!
