  • Episode Description
  • Tony Blake stages a real life illusion--making it appear that Alexander Polchek, a scientist from the Soviet Union, is killed so that he can be given a new identity. Thanks to a leak, however, a band of kidnappers is not fooled. They capture the scientist and hold an auction for his secret of extracting oil from shale rock.

    • Announcer in Magic Castle: Now may I introduce Mr. Greg Wilson, who brought his father Mark along to assist him.

    • Nelson Paradine: I'm going to tell you what reality is. Reality is the moment you step out of that door, your acting career is dead. The reality is that you have no acting talent, no typing talent, and fact, (laughing) no talent for anything remunerative that I've been able to discern.

    • Jerry Anderson: Now look, Gentlemen, I don't want no problems. So why don't you be good to yourself and leave me alone?

    • Stacey Hyatt: Well, I doubt very much, Mr. Blake, that unless you can make the IRS disappear, Mr. Paradine would be interested in seeing you.

    • Dominick: (referring to Stacey Hyatt) Oh, she's a motion picture star, Carl. That is, as long as Mr. Paradine keeps putting money in her career. You be careful, Tony, Paradine guards his possessions very carefully.
