    • This episode was profiled in TV Guide when they did a feature piece on U.N.C.L.E. in 1964.

    • Jill Ireland, who portrayed Marion Raven, was married to David McCallum (Kuryakin) at theĀ  time this episode was made.

    • Executive Producer (and un-credited series concept creator) Norman Felton and Producer/Developer Sam Rolfe appear in cameos at the house party sequence. Rolfe plays a "Texas Oil Man" who is close dancing with Jill Ireland, and Felton is the chess player who wipes all the pieces off the board and leaves in a huff after Illya makes a move on the board in opposition. Joe Calvelli (the associate producer) played the writer to whom Illya suggests Machiavellian overtones for the story the writer is typing at the party. Director Richard Donner plays the drunk at the party.
