  • Quotes (4)

    • Lisbon: What if he's right? What if Red John really does have powers?
Jane: Please. A-and what if dolphins were actually aliens from another galaxy? That would be kind of cool.

    • Barlow: Red John. Any punk killer who wants to fool with you can paint a smiley face on the wall. "Ooh, it's Red John"
      Jane: It was Red John.
Barlow: Red John has your mind completely messed up. You see him every place you look. You think you're getting closer, but he is just playing with you.
      Jane: We'll see.
Barlow: Has it never occurred to you to ask exactly how Red John is always one step ahead of you? How is it he seems to read your mind?
      Jane: You tell me.
Barlow: Red John's got powers. Real psychic powers that you refuse to believe in. Teresa will hear what I'm saying, but you've no faith, so you're deaf to the truth. He's got powers. That's why he'll always defeat you.

    • Lisbon: (about Jane's suspect list) Are these people I know well?
      Jane: Very well.
      Lisbon: J.J. LaRoche?
      Jane: No.
      Lisbon: Ardiles?
      Jane: Hmm. Interesting guess. No.
Lisbon: Would you tell me if I guess right?
      Jane: Nope.
      Lisbon: You're killing me.

    • Jane: (at the crime scene) This is Red John.
      Lisbon: How can you tell?
Jane: Because when it's him, I can feel it.

It sounded like Gene Pitney. If not, his is the definitive version.

    • smiling_crista May 08, 2013

yes, i know his version, but i don't think it's his in the episode. this is why i'm asking.

    • smiling_crista May 08, 2013

      thanks though

    • mnementh01 May 08, 2013

Hi there. I checked it again. It's definitely Gene Pitney.

don't know how did Red John got this happy memory from, but the list he made and thought he is very clever showing off like this; he got it from Patrick! when he send his men to Patricks's room.. obviously Jane in that episode meant to lead RJ to some real and some not real leads. Why I got strange vibes from Lisbon! how did she got hurt! maybe she is one of RJ ... Bob is definitely one of RJ or is RJ himself but I hope Lisbon is not connected... you see Jane didn't want to share his list with Lisbon for a reason, is be cause he suspect her or Grace , I don't know !

I agree with Bob being definitely one of RJs, but I am not sure about him being RJ himself - he doesn't have such a vibrant personality who would be able to manipulate so many people. But when I first saw his face and heard his voice I thought it was him. Bertram is envolved too, but he is not RJ. Bret Stiles was my number one from the very beginning, but his last appearence changed my mind. But both his personality, huge brain waching company, it makes sense. About using Jane's childhood memories: it suggests two things: either some one of his family or friends from his childhood was turned into the RJ circle, or his female psychiatrist (the one he befriended during his time in the asylum). He had to speak about his childhood memories with her during his therapy. I doubt Lisbon is envolved, not that sure about Grace.

Yeah they never brought up her arm again so I just figured Robin had hurt it in real life.

    • mnementh01 May 09, 2013

      That was my thought, exactly.

    • DexterMorgan2 Apr 19, 2013

I wonder who the seven could be.

    • LalaDrake May 06, 2013

      Lisbon or Van Pelt

    • 7dixob Apr 21, 2013

Bret Stiles, Gale Bertram, Ray Haffner, Walter Mashburn, Brett Partridge, Virgil Minelli and Ellis Mars.
