  • Mma Ramotswe continues to act as the sole investigator for The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency but her business is floundering financially. Her secretary Mma Makutsi develops a flier to drum up business with good results. New cases include a disturbed dentist, a missing dog and a vanishing husband.

  • The Big Bonanza neatly picks up the momentum of the excellent pilot episode and runs with it. The cast remain excellent despite the almost year long gap between filming this episode and filming the pilot. A fine episode overall.
