    • Doc Saturday: (After Drew throws a tv, aiming at Van Rook) Why would you throw a tv? Drew Saturday: I, I'm sorry. I just... I get in the zone.

    • Zak Saturday: Every family has secrets... my family just has bigger ones. They're called cryptids: all the strange, exotic creatures that regular science doesn't believe in... at least not yet.

    • Zak Saturday: (About the Saturdays) We're the only ones standing between you and all the things that go bump in the night.

    • Doc Saturday: Looks like you got the worst of it. Who was it? Dr. Cheveyo: Argost himself. Zak Saturday: Argost was here?! Dr. Cheveyo: Yes, and he blew up my lab. How cool for me. Zak Saturday: Right. Bad guy. I hear he puts on a pretty good TV show, though.

    • Doc Saturday: (After attacking Doyle) Another new apprentice, Van Rook? Didn't you warn him what I did to the last one? Doyle: He did, I'm better! Doc Saturday: Prove it!

    • Van Rook: Where is it?! We've turned this whole compound over, top-to-bottom, three times! Argost said it would be here! (Destroys bed) Doyle: Did you check under the bed? Van Rook: You think this is funny? What's the first thing I taught you? Reputation - that's what the people pay me for. If that chalk-faced freak gave me wrong information, it's his fault the job doesn't get done. Doyle: But we will bill him anyway. Van Rook: Now you're learning.

    • Doc Saturday: (About the Claw) I've been calling it the "Multi-Function Adaptive Combat Defensive Enhancement." A mouth-full, yes, but maybe you could give it an acronym name like "MuFACDE."

    • Zak Saturday: You know, in my plan, no one got power wedgied at 6,000 feet!

    Trivia (37)

    • Cryptids Revealed: * Fiskerton Phantom - A 7-foot tall, gorilla-cat. Travels with and is a part of the Saturday family. * Komodo Dragon - Has the ability to make its entire body transparent. Like Fiskerton, he also travels with and is part of the Saturday family. * Cameroon Flashlight Frog - Luminous frog located deep in the jungle with the ability to attract others of its kind. Its saliva is extremely toxic. * Kalmykian Snakes - Venomous, exploding snakes located in the jungle. * Al-Kaseem Firecracker Beetles - Releases a highly flammable defensive gas, which can ignite with just a spark. The Kur was also mentioned, but not seen.

    • Zak's line about saving Fiskerton from the curse in Fiji is a reference to the Secret Saturdays' comic story, "The Cannibal Curse".

    • Cryptids Revealed: * Tapire-Lauara - Fearless, amphibious creatures. One of the most dangerous cryptids in South America. * Devonian Annelids - Small, parasitic worms that drain the host of its essence. * Zon - A flying, pterodactyl-like cryptid called Ornithocheirus found in the South American rain forest. After being saved from Argost by Zak, she is brought to the Saturdays headquarters to live with them. Congolese Spiders were also mentioned, but not seen.

    • It is revealed that Zon's name comes from the location in which she was found, the Amazon Rain Forest.

    • Cryptids Revealed: * Hibagon - Found in a block of ice on Mt. Hiba, Japan, its brain was swapped with Professor Talu Mizuki's, a Japanese scientist, by a local crime lord named Shoji Fuzen. After being persuaded by the Saturdays to cease his quest for revenge, he was allowed live in cave in a secluded area to continue his research. He is currently the only known cryptid with the ability to speak. In reality, the Hibagon (also called Hinagon) is a Japanese urban legend, reported to have been seen in the forests surrounding Mt. Hiba in the Hiroshima Prefecture.

    • Cryptids Revealed: * White Areke - A wild cryptid, living in the swamps deep in the rain forest. * Amarok - Found in the piercement domes on Ellef Ringnes, an island above the Arctic Circle, and accidentally set loose by the Secret Scientists in the area. They are wolf-like cryptids guarding the ancient artifacts hidden in the domes and are capable of producing heavy snowstorms.

    • Goofs: Zak's green band disappears in the elevator after Komodo tore it off.

    • The Headmaster of the Legion of Garuda is seen briefly while Zak is checking the Interpol Criminal Database for Piecemeal.

    • TiVo: The device that Zak uses to record episodes of his favorite show, V.V. Argost's Weird World, is called "TVid!" This is a reference to the digital video recording system known as TiVo.

    • Dr. Arthur Beeman: (After falling for Zak's UFO stunt) Sweet Galvan Prime. This is a reference to the home planet of the Galvans, a tiny but superintellegent alien race from the Cartoon Network Original Series "Ben 10".

    • Title: A take on the movie, "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner."

    • Zak being carried away by the Owlman and then being dropped in its nest to be devoured is similar to Jurassic Park III when Eric Kirby was carried away by a Pteranodon and was taken to her nest also to be eaten.

    • Ben 10: While Doc and Drew are looking through the list of evil-doers in the Cryptopedia, Dr. Animo appears. Dr. Animo is a villain from the popular Cartoon Network series Ben 10.
