    • Caroline: How come the only time April Young isn't following you around like a lost puppy is when I'm lying dead with a broken neck?
      Matt: April saw you?
Caroline: Yeah, it's okay. I compelled her.
Matt: No, she's, she's wearing Jeremy's vervain bracelet. She can't be compelled.

    • Tyler: I love you.
Caroline: I love you, even when I hate you.

    • Elena: (to Damon) The last time I was here, I was so completely in love with Stefan. Now that's just barely a memory. Is that the sire bond, or just that I'm so happy to be here with you?

    • Damon: (notices Elena moping by the lake) You're not allowed to feel this sorry for yourself...unless you're sitting on a bar stool. (hands her a bottle) Fortunately, I travel with a bar.

    • Damon: (lying in bed with Elena) This could be so much more fun if we were naked.
Elena: That's your fault, not mine.
Damon: I was being a gentleman.

One of the best soundtrack they have...

So why did Klaus kill his hybrids? I missed something... and he blames Tyler? Did Shane tell him that Tyler unsired them? I don't get it. Also, why kill another 12 people, for Bonnie? Since Shane is totally a witch, who used the first 12 in the first episode, which is why Damon is sticking around with Jeremy. And how lame was it that he just let her go like that, where was the emotion? Neither of them cried or fought it or anything. That just makes me think that they are so not even close to over, because if they were they'd (the writers) would have done it in a way that would have ripped out our hearts faster than Klaus killed his hybrids.

obviously, Hayle tipped of Klause (remember the scene when she was talking to him then she left when Stephan approached them)...probably, they need 12 werewolves... remember what Tyler said? if you get unsired, you loose the vampire side and be a regular wolf. Shane probably had some elaborate and extremely complex yet probably stupid scheme (much as evey other scheme that ever existed in this show) that he'd explain at the finale, and all the blah blah yada yada shit they always does...

Loved that post... i'm in the same boat! Why did they have to be unsired to be killed too?? So many questions! Jumping backwards here also... Why is Damon able to sire Elana?? Why did we never hear about it before?? anyone know?? And yes... no passion in that goodbye...hmmmm
