Trivia (9)

  • Goof: Glenn says his wife's heart stopped. Under those circumstances, 911 would be called and they would send an ambulance. Even if they were unable to revive her, she would have been transported to the hospital so a doctor could pronounce her dead. Yet it was the coroner's department which was at the house taking her body away.

  • We learn that Peal and Brogan had been lovers in 1974, the year they both took the bar exam, when Jimmy talked about the day they saw the film Chinatown together. It was released that year.

  • Goof: They misrepresented what a hate crime is. It is not sufficient only to be prejudiced to be guilty of a hate crime. A hate crime can only be charged if there is evidence that bias was the reason the criminal targeted the victim. For example, yelling a racial epithet during the commission of the crime, which did not happen in this case.

  • The name of Jimmy's law firm is James T. Brogan Associates.

  • Goof: You cannot hear someone talking on a firing range with guns shooting and ear protection on as was depicted between the two ADAs, no matter how loudly they shout.

  • Goof: The ADA tells the victim's parents that she cannot get the death penalty for the defendant. However this is incorrect. NY state does have a death penalty.

  • Brogan assumes the ADA prosecuting his client is Peal apparently based on an extremely vague description. Given that they're hundreds of ADA's in the Manhattan D.A.'s office, it was a helluva good guess.

  • Rob Morrow & Judd Hirsch starred for 6 seasons together on the show Numb3rs. Morrow played FBI agent Don Eppes & Hirsch played his father,Alan.
