  • Neal Marlens went to Walt Whitman High School in South Huntington. The maroon and white "Wildcats" mascot and logo that is used in "The Wonder Years" is the same as that of WWHS.

  • In this episode, Kevin says he has known Paul since Paul was 36 hours old. However, we later find out that Paul's birthday is March 14th and Kevin's is March 18th which makes that impossible.

Allusions (2)

  • This episode takes place in September 1968. Kevin and Paul steal a copy of the book Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Sex: But Were Afraid To Ask by David Reuben, M.D. from the bookstore. However, the book wasn't published until June 1969.

  • The Beatles poster on Kevin's wall is from The White Album that was released in November 1968. This episode took place in September 1968.
