    • Jimmy: Polly's father was important to you, wasn't he? Teaspoon: Wasn't for him I wouldn't be here today. When I first rode into Austin, I was an angry young Buck; real good with a gun. He saw somethin' in me, somethin' I didn't see. Went ahead and made me his deputy. 'Course, when I saw his daughter it was either that or shoot me. Jimmy: What was he like? Teaspoon: Didn't have an ounce of fear in him. Always looked for the best in people, always give people the benefit of the doubt, I guess you can say he's the kind of man I always wanted to be. They don't make 'em like that anymore, Jimmy. Jimmy: Yeah, they do.

    Trivia (1)

    • Polly was one of Teaspoon's many wives (the number of them changed a few times) Polly – my third wife. That only one that broke my heart.
