Bronson is hired by lonely widower Monica to work on her ranch. Her teen-age daughter Lori soon becomes smitten with Bronson while Monica finds Bronson's demeanor captivating.
This is the first of the "triangle' episodes, and one that is justifiably famous. the columnist Bob greene wrote about this episode, considering it a model for dating, with both the beautiful mom and the equally beautiful daughter falling for the hero. there is nothing unbelievable in this episode: Parks' great skill in being charming without being smarmy, and the grace with which he handles the situation really is what reached young men like me when the show first ran. The onlt thing standing in the way of perfection here is the late-episode crying jag by the mother over her late husband. otherwise, this approaches Bronson at its finest.moreless
