Clever and Heartfelt
Billy the Baby is hilarious, it's a fantastic and loving tribute to Tex Avery's wacky and unpredictable style and for those who love spaghetti westerns it'll be a riot to watch. One of the things I love about this episode is that the humor goes into "uncomfortable" territory with Billy. Like hell he's a grown man who poops himself that's horrifying, but watching the main characters suffer through trying to "man" up Billy is just great. There's a lot of gags in this episode that really work for the show's favor, like "The Man With No Name" constantly finding the squad, trust me, you'll be in hysterics over the ending. ;) 5/5.
Father Figure of Our Country is a very interesting character development episode for Tuddrussel and Otto. Most of the humor comes from Larry's short moments of screen time while he squees with glee over colonial rococo fashions (SO MUCH PINK!) But other than that, the contents of the episode is pretty serious. What I appreciate about this episode is that it's obvious that the writers really took an effort to bring up actual historical fact with Washington, who really wasn't happy being president and really did just want to live his life with his family. The writers also did an excellent job of bringing up the subject of Tuddrussel's and Otto's relationship, which had evolved into a very parental type as the series went on. 5/5. This is a very heartfelt episode, if you like that kind of thing.moreless
