  • Romano, celebrating his new Porsche sports car, takes Hooker out for a night at a dance club, but the car is stolen, hitting a gypsy king as it speeds away. The injured man and his 10-year-old niece have been tracking the thieves trying to recover stolen automobile parts, but they refuse to give any information to the police. The next day, the man is murdered, but the niece once again refuses to talk. • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (1)

    • (after Romano's car is stolen) Romano: Do you know what my insurance company just said? I was doing police work, so my claim's no good. Stacy: Since when does dancing qualify as police work? (Hooker, Corrigan and Stacy snicker) Romano: That's very funny, Stacy; I appreciate the sympathy.

    Notes (2)

    • German episode title: "Kindliche Zeugin", meaning "Childish Witness"

    • Some sources list Miguel Fernandes' character's name in this episode as being spelt 'Ralph' (including the subtitles when Channel 5 broadcast this episode on 8/5/2002); but 'Rafe' can generally be taken to be the correct spelling.

    Trivia (1)

    • The footage as Hooker and Romano pursue Romano's stolen Porsche, which ends up tumbling over the side of a cliff and exploding, is recycled from the early second season episode "King of the Hill."
